THERAPY FOR LAWYERS

Professional lawyer in navy suit carrying brown leather briefcase – therapy for lawyers in Maryland and DC at Viewpoint Art Therapy.

In-Person in Olney, Maryland | Telehealth in Maryland, Washington, DC & Missouri

Legal careers come with unique stressors—long hours, high stakes, and constant pressure. At Viewpoint Art Therapy, I provide a flexible, understanding space where lawyers in the DC and Maryland area can decompress, reflect, and build practical coping strategies.

  • I understand that legal work doesn’t always follow a 9-to-5 schedule. That’s why I offer early morning and daytime appointments, holding 25+ office hours per week but limiting my caseload to 12–14 clients.

What does that mean for you? Even with a standing weekly or biweekly session, there’s plenty of room to be flexible when court schedules, deadlines, or work travel get in the way.

I respond to texts and emails promptly and start and end sessions on time, ensuring you leave ready to tackle whatever comes next, without adding stress to your day.

  • Sessions are available in-person at my Olney, MD office or via telehealth across Maryland, DC, and Missouri. This flexibility allows you to maintain consistency in therapy while balancing unpredictable work commitments, travel, or personal obligations.

  • You already spend enough time in your head and can think circles around most people. You don’t need to pay me for that. What therapy with me offers is the space to slow down and learn to notice, listen, and respond from a place of internal connection instead of perpetual disconnection.

Why therapy with me makes sense:

Common reasons lawyers seek support

(You Might relate if you’re…)

  • • Wanting to do work you love without letting it slowly drain your energy, health, or joy

  • • Feeling pressure to always perform, be “on,” and manage everyone else’s expectations

  • • Searching for ways to reconnect with your own sense of purpose and personal values

  • • Questioning whether this career path is truly what you want long-term or how to pivot without losing momentum

  • • Having difficulty setting boundaries with clients, colleagues, or even yourself

  • • Feeling isolated or lonely despite being surrounded by colleagues and clients all day

  • White question mark painted on a brick wall
